City Services:
Green Waste Pickup  grass clippings, weeds, leaves, vines and/or twigs, not exceeding 1/2" diameter will be picked up at the curbside by department crews on a bi-weekly basis (north-side/south-side). Debris should be placed in clear plastic bags.
Dial-A-Truck The department will schedule two dial-a-chipper appointments per day (Tues. - Thurs.), on a first come first serve appointment basis. Department crews will chip the brush, not exceeding 8" diameter, placed at the curbside by the resident. If specifically requested, chips will be stockpiled on the ground at the point where chipping occurs. This is a seasonal program offered from April - October. Residents may call 363-7222 to set up an appointment.

Spring and Fall Cleanup - Loose debris such as grass clippings, weeds leaves, vines and/or twigs not exceeding 1/2" diameter, will be picked up at the curbside by department crews. The use of clear plastic bags is encouraged, but loose piles will be picked up. The local news media will announce the pick up schedule.

Christmas Tree Pick up - Christmas trees, placed at the curbside, will be picked up by department crews.

Madison County Transit- Madison Transit is public transportation that serves the City of Oneida and surrounding areas of Madison County.  Madison Transit System is operated by: Birnie Bus Service of Rome NY.  Birnie Bus Service will also be operating the call center for Dial-a-Ride and non emergency Medicaid transportation.  For information or to schedule a ride, please phone 315-824-1260.
